Each connection to each drive will carry signals to Port 0 from Host A, and signals to Port 1 from Host B (so both ports of each drive are accessed by the 2 separate Hosts) If your HBA’s each have (2) HD SFF-8644 connections, then a set of (2) of these cables will enable you to connect (2) HBA’s to up to 8 drives, accessing both ports of each drive.
