New re-design of our popular ADP-4200 6g to accommodate 2.5″ 12g SAS drives. This ‘Dual-Port’ design maintains the same form-factor as the ADP-4200, with the exact same dimensions, mounting holes, and SAS drive connector location as before, but we have incorporated the 12g-compatible SFF-8643 HD SAS connector, ensuring that it will handle the faster data transmission of the latest 12g drives. *’Hot-Swap’ capable *.093″ thick to withstand rigorous ‘docking’ of drives *Designed in ‘impedance-matching’ circuitry and multi-layer (4-layer) board design for optimum performance *Can be used as a stand-alone backplane for a single-drive box, or multiple boards stacked for a multi-drive array *Normally provided w/ an on-board drive activity LED, or can be supplied with a 2-pin header for remotely locating LED on the enclosure *Standard Molex-style 4-pin power connector w/ +12v & +5v *Outside dimensions .6″ x 2.76″ -

SAS Drive Adapter – 2.5″ Form-Factor – Dual Ported – Hot Swap ADP-4200 is the latest addition to our line of SAS drive backplane adapters. It measures .6” high and 2.76” wide for high-density drive arrays, and easily mounts to your hardware for Hot-Swapping of 2.5” Drives. The 29-pin drive “docking” connector and (2) 7-Pin Signal connectors (for redundant SAS host applications) provides an ideal mounting platform for SAS and SATA Drives. Standard power connector provides +12V and +5V (Optional 3.3V).
